The event is dedicated to young and old and will take place in #qualunquecondizionemeteo , all within the historic #borgo of Villatico. It is possible to start the #path from the Church of San Bernardino (Piazza Giovanni Paolo II, Villatico - Colico) and move on foot following the #indications .

It is possible to visit the ancient and suggestive village of mills choosing between two itineraries, both suitable for adults and children and well marked (maps with details and contacts in A5 format available free of charge by writing to info@molinomaufet.com or by contacting the number +39 366 7404948 - also WhatsApp):
1. Direct route between the mills (1.5 km outward + 1.5 km return; total height difference + 200m / -200m - Follow brown tourist road signs - one part is unpaved). Church of San Bernardino -> Molino Secrista -> Villatico dairy -> Molino Maufet - > Molino Seregni -> Molino Murgana;
2. Path of the Molini ring path CAI - 1B (1.5 km outward + 1.5 km return; total height difference + 200m / -200m - Follow the CAI "Anello Molini" signs - almost entirely unpaved). Church of San Bernardino -> Secrista Mill -> Villatico Dairy -> Molino Maufet -> Molini CAI Ring -> Ancient Votive Chapel -> Molino Murgana -> Molino Seregni -> return.

CONTINUE THE WALK TO THE TOWER!
From Molino Murgana it is possible to continue and easily reach in a few minutes the suggestive village of Fontanedo, the first settlement of Colico following the signs CAI "Ring of Fontanedo". Starting from 2 June 2019 it is also possible to visit the ancient and panoramic Tower of Fontanedo restored and managed by the White War Museum ( Forte Montecchio Nord And Fort of Fuentes ). Forte Montecchio Nord, Forte di Fuentes and Torre di Fontanedo have reopened their doors on Saturday 12 March 2022 and will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm! ℹ️ For any info: +39 0341 940322

It is a beautiful medieval tower built in 1357 by Barnabò Visconti who helped to warn the local populations of possible invasions from the lake and from the land. It was redeveloped during the period of Spanish domination and remained active until the 18th century in the defensive complex that was headed by Fuentes.

Once in front of Molino Murgana it is in fact possible to continue on the " CAI Ring of Fontanedo " .. and, in a few minutes on foot, visit the village of Fontanedo and the magnificent Tower, discovering, with a breathtaking view of the lake, another piece of history .. where everything for the Molini and Colico began ..

Colico in the Cellar
The Cantine Festival, now in its eighth edition, is held here in our beautiful village of Villatico (Colico - Lc) - Lake Como, it is an event linked to the local food and wine, during which it will be possible to taste the typical products of the local cuisine excellent wine from the surrounding areas and beyond ...
The splendid cellars are located in the historic village of the Villatico hamlet, along the streets and alleys of the town, the participants in this event will be entertained by many events, music and lots of fun.
The event is organized by 15 local associations that will create a different atmosphere in each winery, offering 15 wines and heterogeneous dishes, thus giving life to an unmissable event ... And the Molino Maufet will be the 15th stop .. and a Sommelier will lead the tasting..!
